The short and sweet of it

hannahheadshotII’m a creative problem solver who has found their groove in the world of experience design. I currently work on solutions that solve complex B2B problems in a technically challenging and legislative heavy environment, for humans! I love it.

With over 10 years of experience across user experience, digital design and content creation, I’ve fostered a passion for designing solutions that bring together meaningful experiences, beautiful interfaces and content that guides and persuades.

Great design isn’t just for ‘shiny’ products and brands, and I believe that any experience has an opportunity to be rethought or transformed.

Recent Work History

User Experience Designer
Tabcorp (formerly Tatts Group) 
May 2018 –  Present

  • User research and discovery; gathering and synthesising user and business insights.
  • Creation of wireframes, user interaction flows, service blueprints, personas and scenarios.
  • Design of low and high fidelity prototypes (UXPin, Balsamiq, Gliffy).
  • Working in collaboration with the UX Designers, Business, Technology, Developers, Account Mangers and Support teams.
  • Workshop facilitation across all stages of delivery.
  • Championing a culture of human and customer centric design and decision making.

Achievements

  • Nominated by my Gaming Services peers for an individual staff award for demonstrating Tabcorp values (2020).
  • Won the ATOM team award with the Gaming Services UX Team for excellence and commitment to upholding key team values (2019).
  • Contributed to the Gaming Services’ team maturity and skills uplift in customer centric design, most notably leading a team through the IDEO and Acumen Academy Introduction to Human-Centered Design course and co-facilitiaing the Gaming Services UX Persona Masterclass series.

  • Designed highly usable interfaces that met client expectations while also considering human behaviour.
  • Produced low and high fidelity prototypes.
  • Produced wireframes and user interaction flows, informed by secondary research, best practice techniques and competitor analysis to validate ideas and pitch concepts to clients.

Jun 2014 – Aug 2017

  • Designed usable, high quality and customer-centric interfaces for the website, booking/purchase funnel and Flight Centre App.
  • Produced low and high fidelity prototypes, wireframes and user flows.
  • Performed competitive analysis and secondary research.
  •  Worked with UX leads to analyse heatmaps, A/B and Multivariate testing to measure success and validate design decisions.
  • Assisted to facilitate the in-house Design Guild.

Achievements

  • Selected to participate in the Flight Centre Young Guns emerging leaders program (2016).
  • Global Award winner, recognised as a high achiever in Digital Experience (2015).

  • Produced original conceptual design solutions and amendments to existing print collateral for a variety of clients across construction, the arts, insurance and retail industries.
  • Produced animation and motion graphics for digital signage, web banner advertising and television commercials.
